- 7 lb. cucumbers, sliced
- 2 gal. water
- 2 c. pickling lime
- 5 lb. sugar
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Pour water and pickling lime over cucumbers and let stand 24 hours.

2Drain off lime water and rinse in cold water unti clear, then cover with ice water.

3Let stand 3 hours.

4Drain.

5Add sugar, vinegar and salt.

6Let stand for 24 hours.

7Cook in mixture 35 minutes.

8Pack in hot jars and seal.
