Ingredients

  • 1 cup broth
  • 12 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 13 cup cider vinegar
  • 14 cup soy sauce (I use lite)
  • 14 cup catsup
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 34 cup carrot, cut up
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 34 cup bell pepper
  • 34 cup celery
  • 34 cup pineapple chunk
  • 4 cups turkey or 4 cups chicken or 4 cups Spam or 4 cups pork
  • onion, if you like
  • Pam cooking spray
  • hot cooked rice or chinese noodles

Directions

    Combine first 6 ingredients in a saucepan.

    Cook over medium heat stirring until thickened.

    Remove from heat.

    Spray frying pan with Pam saute carrots and celery (onion if you like) for 1 minute.

    Add bell pepper, pineapple and whatever; cook 5 minutes.

    Add sauce and cook until thoroughly heated.

    Serve over rice or Chinese noodles.
