- cucumbers
- 1 c. salt to 1 gal. water
- 1 c. lime to 1 gal. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
Directions

1Soak cucumbers in 1 cup of salt to 1 gallon of water for 1 week.

2Then wash and cut in rings.

3Soak in 1 cup lime to 1 gallon of water for 23 hours.

4Wash well and make syrup of sugar and vinegar (enough to cover cucumbers) and soak overnight.

5Drain off syrup and boil 10 minutes.

6Cover cucumbers again and let set 2 hours.

7Put on stove and cook 12 minutes.

8Put mixed spices in jar.

9Fill with cucumbers and syrup and seal.
