- 2 lb. cucumbers
- 2 c. lime
- 2 gallon water
- 2 qt. white distilled vinegar
- 4 1/2 lb. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. plain salt (non iodized)
- 2 Tbsp. whole pickling spice
Directions

1Slice cucumbers.

2Mix 2 cups of lime, into 2 gallons of water and soak cucumbers for 24 hours.

3Rinse cucumbers well at least 4 times to remove all traces of lime.

4Cover cucumbers with ice at least 1 to 2 inch thick layers of ice on top and let set until the ice melts.

5Allow the cucumbers to drain off all excess water.
