  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. sweet potatoes, boiled and mashed, or canned
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pinch of soda

Directions

    Mix milk, potatoes and butter.

    Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda.

    Mix all together.

    Turn onto a floured board; knead 30 seconds.

    Roll 1/2-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.

    Bake in a 425° oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
