  • 6 sweet potatoes
  • 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 c. bourbon

Directions

    Boil sweet potatoes in jackets until firm.

    Peel and cut into slices.

    Put one layer of potatoes into buttered casserole and cover with 1/2 of brown sugar and dot with 1/2 of butter.

    Repeat. Pour bourbon over all and bake about 30 to 45 minutes at 350° until brown and bubbly.
