Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water, divided
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 8 c. flour, divided
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.

2Melt margarine in remaining warm water.

3Add sugar, salt and beaten egg to margarine and water.

4Cook to lukewarm.

5Add yeast and 1/2 of flour; mix until all ingredients are well blended.

6Add enough remaining flour to make a stiff dough.

7Place in a greased bowl.

8Turn once to grease top of dough.

9Cover and refrigerate.

10When ready to use, take out needed amount.

11Make into rolls.

12Place in lightly greased pans and let rise 3 to 4 hours, until double in size. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until brown.

13Total amount will yield 48 rolls.
