- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- chopped nuts (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 c. warm milk
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 5 c. flour
Directions

1Cook brown sugar and 1/4 cup butter and syrup until butter is melted.

2Place in the bottom of a buttered 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Sprinkle bottom with chopped nuts, if desired.

3Mix warm milk and yeast and let set until yeast begins to bubble.

4Add sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs and flour and mix until not sticky.

5Place in an oiled bowl (covered) to rise until double in size.

6Smash down and roll out half of the dough.

7Brush with about 2 to 3 tablespoons butter on each half.

8Sprinkle with the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon mixture.

9Roll up and slice in 1 to 2-inch pieces.

10Repeat with remaining dough.

11Place in pan on top of brown sugar mixture.
-
12Allow to rise again, then bake in 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

13Run a knife along the sides of the pan and dump out of the pan so the sticky topping on the bottom is on the top.
