- 1/2 tsp. butter
- 2 lb. chuck steak (1/2-inch)
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 green pepper, sliced
- 1/2 c. juice from tomatoes
- 1 lb. can tomatoes, chopped and drained (reserve juice)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- fresh ground pepper
- 1 Tbsp. A.1. sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Directions

1Spread center of a 20-inch sheet of foil with butter.

2Cut steak in small serving pieces.

3Arrange on foil, slightly overlapping pieces.

4Sprinkle with onion soup mix, mushrooms, green pepper and tomatoes.

5Season.

6Mix juice, A.1. sauce and cornstarch.

7Pour over meat and vegetables.

8Seal foil tightly. Bake 2 hours to serve.

9Roll back foil and sprinkle with parsley.
