  • 1/4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • dash of meat tenderizer
  • 1 1/2 lb. round steak or swiss steak
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Pound flour and spices into meat with hammer. Cut into serving size pieces. Brown in shortening.

    Pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients.
