- 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1 can whole tomatoes, put through sieve
- 1/3 c. green peppers, diced
- 1/3 c. carrots, sliced
Directions

1Trim fat and tenderize meat.

2Cut steak into portions.

3Salt, pepper and flour each piece.

4Fry in skillet with 2 tablespoons Crisco until golden brown.

5Set aside each piece on plate.

6In a casserole dish, add tomatoes, 1 cup water, steaks, onions, green peppers and carrots.

7Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
