Ingredients
- 8 cubed beef round steaks (about 4 oz. each)
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 2 tsp. butter or margarine
- 1 c. celery, chopped coarse
- 1 c. onion, chopped coarse
- 1 c. green bell pepper, chopped coarse
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
Directions

1Season both sides of steaks with garlic powder, pepper and salt.

2Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium high heat until butter is foamy.

3Add 4 steaks and cook about 2 minutes per side until browned.

4Remove to plate.

5Repeat with remaining butter and steaks.

6Add remaining ingredients to skillet.

7Bring to boil, stirring to scrape up browned bits in bottom.

8Add steaks along with any accumulated juices.

9Reduce heat to low.

10Cover and simmer 50 to 60 minutes until meat is tender.
