  • 1 thick piece of round steak, cut in pieces
  • flour
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. diced carrots
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 c. cooked tomatoes
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Mix flour, salt and pepper.

    Rub into meat well.

    Melt butter in skillet, then brown meat in it.

    Add vegetables and water. Cover and simmer slowly for 2 hours.
