  • 1 round steak, cut in strips
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In skillet, add shortening.

    Skillet must be hot.

    Flour steak strips.

    Brown on both sides, 1 to 2 minutes.

    In a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan, add other ingredients. Cover and bake 3 hours at 300°. Stir often.
