- 2 lb. round steak
- flour
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- 3 c. water
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- vegetable oil
- sliced onion (optional)
Directions

1Dredge steak in flour and seasoning mixture.

2Fry in hot oil until lightly browned on both sides.

3When all steak has been browned, place in skillet, cover with water and tomato sauce and season to taste.

4Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 1 hour or until meat is tender.

5Stir occasionally.

6Add onion slices for extra flavor before you cover and simmer.
