- 2 lb. round steak
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
Directions

1Mix flour, salt and pepper and pound it into steak.

2Brown the steak in Dutch oven or deep skillet.

3Mix tomatoes and onion and heat to a boil.

4Layer with steak and cook in moderate oven at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.

5Cover before cooking.

6Yields 4 to 6 servings.
