- 1 lb. round steak
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/3 c. carrot, finely chopped
- 1/3 c. green pepper, finely chopped
- 1/3 c. celery, finely chopped
- 1/2 c. stewed tomatoes, drained
- 1 c. beef stock
- 4 c. mashed potatoes
- 1 recipe Basic Bouillon Gravy
Directions

1Trim fat from meat and rub with garlic.

2Sprinkle meat with some of the flour and pound.

3Turn meat and repeat.

4Continue until you have used as much flour as the meat will hold.

5Cut meat into 6 pieces.

6Place in a nonstick casserole.

7Cover with vegetables, tomatoes and beef stock.

8Cover casserole and cook at 300° for 2 hours or until meat is tender.

9Serve meat and mashed potatoes with Basic Bouillon Gravy.
