  • 1 can sardines in tomato sauce (230g)
  • 50 ml water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 Tabasco pepper sauce
  • 1 red chilli, remove seeds and sliced (please wear glove)
  • 2 tsp white sugar
  • 1 big purple onion, sliced

    Heat cooking oil in frying pan using low heat.

    Stir fry onion till fragrant.
  3. 3
    Add sardines with its tomato sauce.
  4. 4
    Add chilli, sugar and water.
  5. 5
    Add about 10 drops of Tabasco sauce.
  6. 6
    Simmer under low heat for 2 minutes till gravy slightly thickened.

    Best served hot with rice or porridge.
