  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced finely
  • 3 to 5 cloves garlic, minced fine
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 to 3 tsp. ground cumin (fresh)
  • 4 to 6 Tbsp. chili powder (Grandma's-Gebhardt's)
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed, ground
  • 1/2 c. water to simmer (use more if needed)

    Drain excess grease.

    Add onion and garlic and finish cooking.

    After 30 minutes, cook, uncovered, if needed, to remove excess moisture.
