- 2 lb. ground round or ground chuck
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 can water
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 1 large jar salsa (mild, medium or hot; depends on your taste)
- 3 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Brown meat and drain.

2In saucepan, combine meat, tomato paste, water, taco seasoning and salsa.

3Let simmer for 40 minutes.

4Add cheese, stirring frequently; simmer until cheese is melted.

5Serve hot with tortilla chips.
