Taco Layer Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 small cans sliced black olives
  • 1 c. chopped green onions
  • 2 1/2 c. shredded cheese
  • 2 medium tomatoes, cubed (pat dry)
  • 2 cans refried beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
  • 4 large avocados
  • 1 lemon, squeezed
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise

Directions

    Spread refried beans on bottom of a large dish.

    Stir together sour cream, mayo and taco seasoning.

    Spread on top of beans. Peel and core avocados.

    Blend avocados, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste until smooth.

    Spread on top of taco seasoning mixture.

    Layer tomatoes, olives, green onions and cheese.

    Chill 1 hour.

    Serve with tortilla chips.
