- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix (1/4 cup)
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 med. head lettuce, torn in bite size pieces (4 cups)
- 1 lrg tomato, cut in wedges
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced and separated in rings
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup sliced olives
- 4 oz sharp natural cheddar cheese shredded (1 cup)
- 1 6oz package corn chips
Directions

1In skillet, brown beef.

2Sprinkle soup mix over meat; stir in water.

3Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

4In salad bowl, combine lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, olives, and cheese; toss well.

5Place lettuce mixture on individual salad plates.

6Spoon on meat; top with corn chips.
