- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 3/4 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 c. shredded lettuce
- 1 c. shredded cheese
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 pt. sour cream
- salsa (your choice)
- optional veggies: bell pepper, olives and tomatoes
- 4 taco salad shells or tortilla chips
Directions

1Brown ground chuck in a large skillet.

2Drain fat.

3Add package of seasoning mix and 3/4 cup water.

4Stir together well. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

5Add pinto beans (remove fat).

6Stir together and let simmer for 15 minutes.

7Prepare salad shells according to directions.

8Prepare veggies.
