Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 (15-1/2 oz) chili beans, undrained
  • 1 (15-1/4 oz) while kernel corn, undrained
  • 1 (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 (14-1/2 can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (4.5 oz) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 1 envelope ranch-style dressing mix
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • corn chips, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese for toppings

Directions

    Brown ground chuck and onions in Dutch oven.

    Drain off fat. Stir beans and next 7 ingredients into beef mixture; bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered 15 minutes stirring occasionally.

    Ladle soup into bowls; top with desired toppings.
