  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. vinegar

Directions

    Combine in saucepan and cook to 265° on a candy thermometer (hard ball stage).

    Pour onto buttered pans.

    Let cool enough to handle.

    Pull and stretch with buttered hands until almost white. Let taffy get completely hard.
  5. 5
    Break or cut into bite sized pieces.
