- 1 1/2 c. light or mild flavored molasses
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. cider vinegar
Directions

1Combine molasses, sugar, butter and vinegar.

2Cook constantly, stirring slowly until mixture boils.

3Boil slowly, stirring constantly until mixture reaches 260° or candy hard ball stage. Remove from heat and pour into greased pan or platter.

4When cool enough to handle, butter hands and pull until light golden color. Cut in 2-inch strips and let harden.

5Wrap individually in wax paper and refrigerate.
