  • 1 lb. ground round steak
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 6 large Mexican tamales, broken up
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (6 oz.) can pitted ripe olives (small)
  • 3 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dry red pepper to taste
  • 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Brown ground beef with onion in large frypan.

    Drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients.

    Mix well and pour into 2 1/2-quart casserole.

    Top with cheese and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°. Makes 6 servings.
