- 7 ounces tequila
- 2 cups hot water
- 2 cups water
- 12 fresh tamarind pulp, pods
- ice
Directions

1Remove tamarind pulp, discarding outer pods.

2Soak the pulp in 2 cups of hot water until soft, from 10 to 15 minutes.

3Rub the pulp until the seeds are free of pulp.

4Remove the seeds and strings from the pulp.

5Rub the pulp until it is dissolved.

6Pour tamarind pulp and water into a pitcher for sun tea.

7Add the rest of the water.

8Put pitcher in the sun for a whole day.

9Add the tequila.

10Add ice if you have some.

11Serve in cups.
