Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. butter, softened
  • 1 c. scalded milk
  • 2 (8 oz.) chocolate bars, melted
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar peanut butter

Directions

    Heat milk, add 2 teaspoons butter; set aside.

    Beat eggs until lemon-colored with 1/2 cup sugar.

    Add flour, baking powder and remaining sugar to egg mixture; mix well.

    Batter will be thin. Bake in a greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch pan for 15 or 20 minutes or until tests done.

    Remove from oven and immediately spread with peanut butter, carefully.

    Refrigerate until peanut butter is hard.

    Melt chocolate bars and spread on top of the peanut butter.
