- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 to 2/3 c. milk
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
Directions

1Combine flour and salt. Cut in shortening and butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle milk (1 tablespoon at a time) over mixture.

2Stir with fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape into balls (about 3/4-inch).

3Place into ungreased mini muffin pans and shape to make tarts.

4Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool.

5Yields 60 tarts.
