- 1 can (14oz) Red Kidney Beans
- 1 can (14oz) Pinto Beans
- 1 can (14oz) Lima/navy Beans
- 1 can (14oz) Chick Peas
- 8 slices (rashers) Bacon, Diced
- 2 whole Medium Onion, Thinly Sliced
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups White Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 can (14oz) Baked Beans In Tomato Sauce (undrained)
Directions

1Rinse and drain the kidney, pinto, lima beans and chick peas, and combine in a 4-5 quart slow cooker.

2In a medium saucepan saute the bacon pieces over medium heat until crispy; drain on a paper towel covered plate and set aside.

3In the same saucepan (no need to wipe out bacon drippings), saute the onions until tender.

4Then add brown sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard and garlic powder to the onions and mix to combine.

5Add the cooked bacon bits, baked beans and the onion mixture to the drained beans in the slow cooker and combine well.

6Cover and cook on HIGH for about 4 1/2 5 hours.
