- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 sticks pie crust mix
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 c. strawberry preserves
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.

2Crumble pie crust into bowl and stir in granulated sugar, egg yolk and yeast mixture. Mix well.

3Roll dough into balls the size of a small walnut.

4Place on ungreased baking sheets.

5Make a deep indentation in center of each ball, shaping into shells that are 1 1/2-inches in diameter and 1/4-inch deep.

6Spoon 1 teaspoon preserves into each shell. Let rise in warm place for 1 hour.
