- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. beer (room temperature; not light beer)
- 1/4 lb. butter, melted
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Mix flour and sugar.

3Add beer and mix well.

4Spoon into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.

5Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

6Remove from oven and pour melted butter over the loaf.

7Return to oven for 15 minutes.

8This can be frozen and reheated before serving.
