  • 1 c. yellow Crisco
  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Directions

    Cream Crisco and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Work in 2 1/2 cups flour. Pinch off dough and make small balls. Dough will be sticky, so roll it in 1/2 cup flour. Mash flat on cookie sheet and bake at 300° until golden brown.
