- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

2Blend eggs and vanilla. Add other ingredients with sour cream.

3Chill several hours or overnight.

4On floured board roll out dough to 1/4 inch.

5Cut with 3-inch cookie cutter.

6Place on greased cookie sheet; sprinkle with sugar or powdered sugar.

7Bake at 450° for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields 12 dozen.
