- 2 c. sugar
- 4 c. flour (self-rising)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
- 6 eggs
Directions

1Mix eggs, vanilla and butter or margarine together well.

2Add sugar, then flour and blend well.

3Turn out on well floured pastry sheet.

4Flour top lightly.

5Roll out to desired thickness and cut with 2-inch cutter.

6Place on foiled, lightly buttered cookie sheet.

7Bake at 375° for 6 to 8 minutes.

8They will not be brown. Remove immediately from pan, placing on cooling racks and cool before storing in container.

9These are soft and great to snack on.

10Yields 6 to 8 dozen.
