  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs

    Cream butter and sugars.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.

    Then add vanilla.

    Sift dry ingredients and mix well with the creamed mixture.
