- 2 sticks butter, softened (room temperature)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine softened butter and sugar.

2Mix well. Add eggs; stir until fluffy.

3Add flour, salt and vanilla.

4Mix well.

5Roll out in small balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Take a medium drinking glass and dip the bottom in flour.

6Press down cookies with glass.

7Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes.
