- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. buttermilk
- 5 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar together.

2Add eggs.

3Add buttermilk.

4Combine flour and soda, then stir into creamed mixture.

5Stir in vanilla.

6Chill dough 2 or more hours.

7Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness.

8Cut into rounds.

9Lay on greased sheet 1-inch apart.

10Sprinkle with sugar.

11Bake at 400° for 7 to 8 minutes.

12Makes about 4 dozen.
