- 1 c. soft butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- additional powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. pecans, finely chopped
Directions

1In medium bowl beat the butter, sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

2Mix in flour and salt until well combined.

3Add the nuts, mixing well.

4Cover and chill at least 1 hour or until dough is stiff enough to shape into marble size balls.

5Place cookies on ungreased baking sheets.

6Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes or until set, but not brown.

7While still warm, roll into powdered sugar.

8Let cool.

9Roll in sugar again.
