- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cake yeast in 1/4 c. warm water
Directions

1When milk is lukewarm, add yeast, then add 2 cups flour.

2Beat well and let rise, then add the butter, sugar, salt and the 2 beaten eggs.

3To this, add enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead well.

4Let rise in a warm place, then shape into small rolls. Let rise in buttered pans.

5Bake in a brisk oven at 375° for 15 minutes or more.

6Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
