  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 5 c. self-rising flour
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Combine margarine, sugar and eggs; mix well. Add flour alternately with milk. Mix well.

    Add vanilla. Grease and flour 8 1/2-inch cake pans. Spread 1/2 cup batter in each pan. Bake at 350° for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
