- 4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. orange flavoring
- 5 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 8 to 10 egg yolks
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar.

2Beat in eggs, one or two at a time.

3Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with water.

5Bake at 350° in three 8-inch pans or two 9-inch pans. Frost with Seven Minute Icing.
