  • 1 beef tenderloin (about 6 lb.), well trimmed
  • 2/3 c. soy sauce
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • Worcestershire sauce (several shakes)
  • 4 tsp. vinegar
  • juice of lemon
  • pinch of sugar
  • garlic to taste
  • pepper to taste

    Mix all marinade ingredients together.

    Marinate tenderloin for several hours, turning occasionally.

    Cook on charcoal grill over medium coals (about 6 inches above coals) for 30 to 45 minutes (medium-rare).

    Tenderloin should be mopped with marinade and turned about 3 times.
