Teriyaki Chicken

  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into thick strips
  • 1/2 cup mirin
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 centimeters ginger piece of, grated
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions

    Place chicken, mirin, soy sauce, and ginger in a resealable bag. Mix well and make sure the chicken pieces are fully coated. Place the bag in the refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours. Flip the bag on every couple of hours.

    Add the oil to a skillet on medium heat. Add the chicken and saute for up to 15 minutes, until golden brown on all sides.

    Serve on a plate with a salad or rice.
