  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb. flank steak, cut in 1-inch strips
  • 1 c. undiluted beef consomme
  • 1/3 c. soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned or regular salt
  • 1/4 c. chopped scallions with tops (or use onion salt)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar or honey
