  • 1 ounce anejo rum
  • 1/2 ounce fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 ounce heavy cream
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 cherry, pitted
  • Ice
  • Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
  • 1/2 ounce cane syrup or Rich Simple Syrup

Directions

    In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients except the cherry, ice and garnish; shake well.

    Add the cherry and ice and shake again.

    Strain into a chilled red wine glass; garnish with the nutmeg.
