  • 1/2 c. buttermilk

    Mix first 2 ingredients together in a large bowl.

    Bring next 4 ingredients to a boil.

    Pour hot mixture over the flour and sugar.

    Mix well.

    Add last 4 ingredients.

    Beat well.

    Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan.

    Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
