  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Bring to boil the first 3 ingredients.

    Add sugar, flour, baking soda and salt.

    Beat eggs; add to mixture.

    Stir in buttermilk and vanilla.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes in a large jelly roll pan, greased.
