  • 1 c margarine or butter
  • 1 c water
  • 4 Tbsp. chocolate (Use high quality chocolate)
  • 2 c flour
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c sour cream or buttermilk

Directions

    Bring butter, water and chocolate to a boil.

    Add at once remaining ingredients.

    Mix well and pour into jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

    Pour icing on as soon as you remove cake from oven.
